1930SummerThe earliest nest of the Tree Swallow was found by Marius Horse at Robbinsdale on May 18-~h; contents two eggs. The young left this nest on June 25th, No very late nests were reported$
1931SummerA soall colony of severoJ. nes"t;s noted at Shakopee, but contents not investicated (Hoolsey). A nest with three fresh eggs on June 9th (Risser).
1932SummerThe earliest nests were f ound on May 22, one with 3 eggs, and ancthor with 2 young (Eisele &Downey). The last ~.s on Jw1e 29, when it hac 3 eggs (L. Fischer).
1933Summer Ten breeding records of tho Tree Swallow were received. Cummings reports the earliest occupied nest. It was soon on May 17th. The first investigated nest was oxnt1ined by Hietlonz on June 13th near st. Cloud. One egg reposed therein. Gr~JCS discovered 6 eggs in a nest found in Red Lake County on June 1/.th. Morse reports the last nest, which was found at Robbinsdale on May 27th. It contained 5 eggs, and was located in a bird-house, a.s wore several of the others reported.
1934Summer Eisele reported the earliest occupied n~st of t~is species, found on May 20th. Its contents were 2 eggs. Prior to this, Hiemenz and Hanson had found nests on ~4a.y 3rd, 15th and 25th v:hich vmre not examined or were still empty. On Jul:r 4th Hru1son fortnd young leaving the nest to est~blish the ~eason s latest record for this species. "
1935Summer On Hay 20th, Tree S'\otallows were seen co.rrying nesting material into holes in medium sized willows. Turner was the observer.
1936Summer On May 22rld Robert Upson found a pair industriously building a nest in a roadside rnailbos near Hinrieapolis. Goo:rge Rysgaard found a pair incubating eggs in a deserted woodpecker hole at Long Neadow on 11ay,30th. _·on June 28th E. D. S1vodonborg saw yo'Ung being fed out of the llost.
1940SummerC. Hero saw r young out of nest on July 8, and 3 young out of nest, July I'), at Duluth.
1943Summer6 nests, Ramsey Cou~~y, April 22-May 17. Bros. Lewis and Pius. North Mpls. 4 eggs, June 27. W. J. Breckenridge.
1944Summer66. April 20, build­ing (five eggs on May 23), St. Paul, Hofstead. Brother Hubert supervised the erection of 64 houses around Fort Snelling Lake, and he reports all hous­es in use, four or five by bluebirds, the remainder by the swallows. Others re­ported by Aler, Hamilton.

1961SummerDean Honetschlager reports that nesting began in two boxes at Marine-on-St. Croix on 7 May. Miss Ellen Jonas found a nest with four eggs on 26 June at Camp Oak Hills.
